Lil Red Records

Welcome to Lil Red Records. More than a lable, this is artists Jennifer Milligan & Pascal Fouquet's Indie Music Business. Producing albums, booking events, teaching, and bringing you Live Streams for Lil' Red & The Rooster and new projects in the works. Our wish is to bring you high quality music born from the roots of Blues.

Founded in 2017 with their album “Soul Burnin” produced by Dave Specter and recorded in Chicago at JoyRide Studio by Grammy-winning engineer genious Blaise Barton. The album made it to the finals of the International Blues Challenge as an indie album.

In 2022, we collaborated with Betsie Brown of Blue Raccoon publicity and Sallie Bengtson of Blue Heart Records to bring you “Keep On!” also recorded by Blaise. Lil' Red produced this album with Blaise & Pascal Fouquet as co-producers. Kenny “Beedyeyes” Smith and Felton Crews contributed their exceptional talents and one song featured Billy Branch curtesy of Allegator Records. Blue Heart Records produced a Christmas album and included one of our two versions of “Santa Baby” recorded in Chicago with Felton Crews on bass, Pascal on guitar and Lil' Red on Vocals and drums. We also produced a music video.

In 2024, Blue Heart Records closed it's doors and became Momojo Records independent of Blue Raccoon. They distributed our single “Goodbye Frowns" that was recorded at the same time as Santa Baby. Unfortunately it would be the last recording made with Blaise who became critically ill and passed away in 2025.

In 2025, we recorded our album “7” in Columbus, Ohio at Vaughn Music Studios with Matt Hagberg as engineer and Matt Abrams mastering. This album diverges from Blues and reached its tentcles into Jazz, Soul and mainstream indie music. It featured Bobby Floyd, Colin John, The Gvernor and The Paris Combo: Jean-Marc Despeignes & Pascal Mucci. This experiment has led to the creation of a new project still in the planning phase.

In 2026, the new project will premier with a single release of “Why Don't You Do Right” featuring Jen (name to come), Lauren Tucker, Bobby Floyd, The Governor and of course Pascal Fouquet. This project will bend towards Jazz, Americana, and Soul with it's feet still in the Blues allowing Lil' Red & The Rooster to plant it's feet firmly in the Blues they love. Pascal Fouquet (G. Louis) is creating a new Surf Blues project we're all excited about.
